Frederick Santiago, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Santiago earned his medical degree from Our Lady of Fatima College of Medicine in the Philippines. He completed his internship and residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. Dr. Santiago chose to be a hospitalist because he enjoys diagnosing and treating patients in the hospital setting. Patients say they appreciate his kindness and empathy. He believes in empowering patients to take responsibility for their health by e with family and friends. In addition to English, he speaks Tagalog and medical Spanish.
